Every year since I’ve started this publication, I answer the question: “WTF is this?” for readers new and old. The answer changes over time.
The answer in my very first post was that this would be a place where I write up a weekly synopsis of something interesting I’d learned the week prior.
At the start of year 2, I called to the fact I wanted to cut back on quantity to refocus on quality and development of my own ideas.
Last year, I noted what I learned from focusing on quality and took it as an opportunity to rebrand the publication to “Conscious Repository”.
So, I return to answer once more…
WTF is this?
Conscious Repository is where I come to write up the stories I tell most often. I enjoy writing most when exploring complex subjects grounded in personal context. Every entry is in some way related to my research into longevity, learnings from my business exploits or ideas that have improved my quality of life.
That said, I only got 6 posts out the door last year. I don’t live off this publication and that’s okay. I’m spending most of my time these days doing independent science in Saint Louis and developing real estate to keep the lights on. I’ve found a unique way to intersect these 2 focuses. More on this to come.
Most recently, I experimented with my first podcast episode. At the time of writing, episode two has already been recorded and will be released soon. In addition to the occasional written posts, I have a goal to release one podcast per month this year.
Conversation topics will be wide ranging. Guest archetype will not be. I will be interviewing people of high agency and integrity. As the host, I’ll be guiding the conversation in search of evergreen wisdom from my guests that would be valuable to you, the listener. We’ll see how it goes!
Episodes will be available on Apple, Spotify and anywhere else you consume podcasts.
2 things staying the same:
